QUESTION: I noticed that the money that is withheld from my check for vacation does not match the amount that was deposited into my account. Why?

ANSWER: There could be two reasons. First if you have dues withheld, the dues portion is transferred directly to Local 6. Secondly, there could be a timing issue with your payroll. Some employers will submit vacation based on the payroll work month and others will submit vacation based on the payroll paid during the month. If neither of these explains the difference then you should ask your employer to investigate the discrepancy. If your employer, after an investigation, says there is no discrepancy you can request the trust to look into the difference.
