Overview

Employer Contributions are made by your employer for each hour you work in covered employment based on rates set forth in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Elective Deferral (401k) Contributions may be made by non-apprentice employees at hourly rates set forth in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, if the employee exercises his right to do so by executing a Salary Reduction Form during the open enrollment period.

Changing Elective Deferral Contributions:

A Salary Reduction Form for electing or changing the 401k contribution that is to be deducted from your wage occurs during an open enrollment period ending December 8th of each year, with the change taking effect on the following January 1st. Your elective deferral rate will remain in effect unless you request a change at a subsequent open enrollment period and no changes may be effected between open enrollment periods.
